What Happens When Women Show Up Brave
You know those moments when your heart feels so full it might just burst? 💗 That’s exactly how I felt after our Raising Brave gathering earlier this week.
It wasn’t about perfect parenting strategies or Instagram-worthy family devotions. It was about real women, sharing real struggles, and the real hope that’s carried them through.
We heard powerful testimonies:
A 17-year journey of waiting for a prodigal child to return home
Moms releasing teens into the world with bold callings
Women surrendering their own dreams for their children, only to find that God had something even better in store 🥹
But do you know what struck me most?
It wasn’t just the stories of breakthrough (though they were amazing). It was the stories of faithfulness in the waiting.
Moms who kept showing up. Kept praying. Kept declaring truth over their kids—even when it looked like nothing was changing.
For the Mom in the Middle of the Mess
Maybe you’re in a season where motherhood feels more like survival than ministry.
The diapers, the tantrums, the teenage eye-rolls, the tuition bills—they can feel so mundane, overwhelming, and endless.
But friend, what you're doing matters deeply.
Every patient response, every bedtime prayer, every boundary set, every tear wiped, every hard conversation—it all counts.
You don’t have to do it perfectly. You just have to keep showing up, surrendering, and pointing them to Jesus.

Last night was just the beginning.
Registration is NOW OPEN for the Build Your Brave Experience 2025 — happening November 6–8, 2025.
Last year, women arrived burdened and left with lighter hearts. They came feeling alone and left feeling connected. They stepped out of smallness and into the fullness of who they were made to be.
What Brave Really Looks Like
If Raising Brave taught us anything, it’s this: Brave living doesn’t require having it all together.
It just takes a willingness to show up and say yes—even when it doesn’t make sense.
That’s what I want for you.
Not a perfect life. A brave one.
A life where you’re not paralyzed by fear of failure or what people think. A life where you’re fully present, fully surrendered, and fully alive in the calling God has placed on your life.
Whatever your brave looks like today, just know: You can do this.
Not because you're strong enough on your own—but because the God who made the universe lives in you. And He delights in doing the impossible through women just like us.
